I applied for a job!

Today I turned in my application to work at In-N-Out! I really hope I get it! I think it would be really fun to work there and serve everyone!

I would use the money mostly on Kiowa, she deserves every penny. I really want a pink saddle though, the one with hearts on it! thats my dream saddle and I have always wanted one!! :)

Break Away Roping

For the past 2 weeks I have been lerning how to rope! It is a lot if fun and I am really good.

At the next rodeo I am going to do break away roping and I can't wait!!! I just have to have a few more lessons with Kiowa to make sure she will be ok with me roping on her, I'm sure she will be she used to be roped off of at her other home and I am sure she misses it. I can't wait to see her reaction with the cow and us roping it! She'll be so excited.

I can hardly wait until the next rodeo! Its going to be a blast. I hope the weather will be warm and easy to ride in.

~Kiowa ~

I just wanted to tell you about my horse Kiowa. For those of you who haven't met her, you are missing out on somthing that words can't explain.

I remeber the exact moment I first laid my eyes on her, she was standing in the pen with all the other horses pounding her hoove on the metal gate waiting for dinner and I knew she was for me. my heart skipped a beat with every clamp of her hoove against the gravle road. When they asked me if I would like to try riding her, I couldn't say yes fast enough. My sisters got to ride her first, as I watched her trot around the round pen, with her beautiful tail in the air and her sweet face glancing all over, I couldn't wait to get on!

After what felt like a lifetime I got to ride her, I felt this amazing spark between me and her. She was perfect! So I was exstactic when we brought her home. Things between her and I at home were diffucult, two stubbern attitudes put together didn't mix well. We had to lern how to respect each other and how to be patient with each other. As I learned from her and she learned from me we became inseprable.

Now Kiowa and I are a great team and we love barrel racing and doing all sorts of high speed events. I always say...its a passion for speed, once its in your blood theres no way of getting it out.

I don't know what my life would be like without Kiowa, she is definatly a part of who I am today. I love her with all of my heart.

RODEO TIME!!

I went to a rodeo with Kiowa on sunday. I did really good! Kiowa was amazing at barrels and we placed 5th!! I was so excited! On poles we placed 10th so it wasn't the best, oh well, HAHA

I did ribbon roping for the first time! I ran and my partner did the roping. The cow tripped so he didn't catch and I couldn't grab the cows ribbon off its tail. It was really fun though, LOL

The best part was THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT! It was like 80 degrees and I loved it!

DRIVING SCHOOL!

Yesterday was my last day of driving school! I am so excited to start driving! On thurday i take my permit test, Hopefully I pass! I hope I do! I learned a lot of things about driving and it will stay with me forever and I think I will be a excellent driver!

Wish me luck! I hope I can pass it so then I can start driving. My teacher was wonderful! I think she did an excellent job teaching our class and making sure we know the dangers of driving. I know I do now, :) Convertible Female

Goat tying!

Today was my first goat tying lesson in a long time! I thought I was going to do horrible beacuse it has been so long since I have done anything like that, but to my surprise it all came back to me and I was really good just like before. :)

Kiowa was an angel , she was so good and knew exactly what to do, I was so proud of her! The goat I tied was really mean, haha, he liked to ram and bite me... It was funny though.

I had a blast today and I can't wait to compete and put my practice to good use!
